Ugh. Varicose veins–the definition of which is, “A vein that is abnormally large, twisted, and bulging off the surface of the skin.” Something that I became all too familiar with during my second pregnancy. They hit me hard (think compression hose in full summer heat) and three years later, it looks as if they are here to stay.
