Boredom Busters: Weird Science

Goddess of preventing boredom, Breezy Mama Cheryl is back with more activities to keep your kiddos occupied–this time, we got some science brewing in the kitchen. . .

There are so many ways to have fun with vinegar and baking soda.  Below are three activities that will keep your kids happy and busy.

Free play with vinegar and baking soda

What You’ll Need: a tray or cookie sheet, many different containers (old apple sauce and yogurt cups, film containers, cleaned out medicine bottles), small spoons (measuring spoons work well) and medicine droppers, vinegar, baking soda and food coloring (if you have it).

What You Do: Place the different containers on the tray.  Fill an apple sauce sized cup with baking soda and a separate cup with vinegar (color it if you wish).  From this point your child can scoop [Read more…] about Boredom Busters: Weird Science
