When I first moved back to San Diego after leaving for four years, I returned as a (gasp!) mom! Suddenly, everything took on new meaning and I most certainly had a whole lot more appreciation for this amazing city, too. In fact, I couldn’t get over just how much there is to do with kids! Truly one of the most beautiful stretches of road, the Coast Highway 101 from Carlsbad to La Jolla also has all sorts of fun stops to do with the kids. Sure, you can take the gorgeous scenic route and enjoy the view, but why not stop and let your children have some fun as well!
