Delish Dish: Tropical Smoothie

I make a smoothie in my Vitamix every morning–it’s an easy way to get in all my fruits and veggies. And though I don’t mind the taste of kale, spinach and chard, sometimes it gets a little old. (But I would never think of NOT adding them!) That’s what I love about this smoothie–you get the creaminess of the mango, a mouthful of tropical, and although it has the greens, they don’t overpower it. So, when you need something new, this smoothie is for you. . .

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond/coconut milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 tangerine
  • handful of greens (any combo, it’s up to you!)
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • handful of ice

Directions:

  • Put ingredients in your Vitamix (or blender) in the order listed.
  • Blend, and enjoy!
