Meet your New York Family and Kid’s Events Editor,
Lan is a freelance writer living in New York City with her husband Dan and daughter Emma. Ever since she was little, she had wanted to be a journalist, so after graduating from Harvard College, she packed up all her worldly possession and drove her rented U-Haul to the Big Apple. Since moving to Manhattan, she has fact-checked, reported and written for many outlets, including People magazine, Worth magazine, the New York Daily News and WalletPop.com. With the arrival of her daughter and son, she has also added class parent, Auction catalogue editor, and Halloween fair co-chair to her resume. She loves how much Manhattan has to offer families and is thrilled to share her recommendations on how to keep kids active.
