5 More Must-Have Items for Part Two of Drugstore Beauty

Breezy Mama’s Queen of the Caboodle saved us all oodles of dollars in her first round of Drugstore Beauty and now she gives us the rest of her picks!

From Kelly:

As I reported last time about my quest to find great makeup in my local drugstores, I stumbled upon some other great beauty finds that I simply cannot do without now! All tried and true by yours truly, here are the other drugstore beauty items that are worth their weight in gold while only costing pennies:

5. Caress Evenly Gorgeous Body Wash
The brown sugar sloughs off dull, dead skin cells while the karite butter moisturizes leaving you with supersoft skin and an even complexion. And it smells like a warm sugar cookie-simply divine! ($4.58, drugstores) Click here to purchase!

4. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs
I once read an article featuring Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and Victoria’s Secret model Daniela Pestova who said her secret to her even, tan legs was Sally Hansen’s Airbrush Legs. If it gives me legs like her, I would be willing to try ANYTHING! Once I mastered the application, this product really does work! It comes in 6 shades, has virtually no scent so it won’t have that funny fake tan smell or clash with your perfume. Although I still don’t have legs like Daniela’s (not even 1000 calf raises and squats could give me that!) it did mask my pasty white, spider veiney legs beautifully. Tips: I recommend trying to match close to your skin tone and not much darker. To apply, spray into hands and rub it on legs. Wash hands when you are done applying. This seems to give the most even application. Let dry for a minute or two and flaunt that new spring dress! Then just wash off in the shower. ($14.99 drugstores) Click here to purchase!

3. NYC (New York Color) Fake Eyelashes
I recently was in a wedding and wanted to add some extra “oomph” with some fake eyelashes. Although I love the drama of fake eyelashes, I admit they can be tough and messy to apply. Then I found these beauties. For only $2, these eyelashes have built-in stick along the lashline. So no messy glue for application, just stick them on over your eyelashes and go! If you don’t get the position of the eyelash right the first time, just peel it off and it will re-stick (Tip: I only apply the lashes to the outer third of my eye. I cut each set of eyelash into thirds, so I get triple the use out of them! Did I mention they were two bucks?). Check your local drugstore!

2. Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-puff Eye Roller
Lately I have been waking up in the morning and my eyes look like I have either been crying all night or I that I have consumed way over my daily limit of sodium. Step in, Garnier Nutritioniste Skin Renew Anti-puff Eyeroller. The formula contains caffeine to banish puffiness and dark circles plus vitamin B5 and glycerin to hydrate skin and lessen the look of wrinkles. Who doesn’t want that? Two words: totally addictive. ($13.49 at drugstores or $10.92 from the Breezy Mama Store!) Click here to purchase!

1. Neutrogena Oil Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser
I have been a Cetaphil user for years. I still think it is a great cleanser. But I was having SO many breakouts time and time again. I am far from a teenager and pimples and wrinkles together? Not a good look. So on the recommendation of a friend, I tried this product. It worked like a charm. Then one fateful morning I woke up to a few scattered pimples again. What was going on? Oh! I had RUN OUT of this facial cleanser and forgot to replenish my supply! I raced over to my local Rite-Aid and picked up a new bottle-haven’t had a breakout since. ($6.99 drugstores) Click here to purchase!
