1. Beggin’ : Madcon
I love this song! It has a 60’s-ish feel to it and is a great one to start your work-out to.
2. Poker Face: Lady GaGa
And now you’re going! Leave it to Lady GaGa to really get things started.
3. Love Sex Magic (feat. Justin Timberlake): Ciara
Let’s be honest — if it weren’t for Justin Timberlake, a.k.a. world’s greatest Saturday Night Live host, Ciara may not have made the cut. But the combined duo make for a fun song.
4. We Made You: Eminem
Yes, I’m serious. I know… strange. However, I love the melody of the “Jessica Simpson” sung chorus, “You’re a rock star”… don’t we all deserve to feel like one?
5. Beat Goes On (feat. Kanye West): Madonna
I couldn’t leave her out, plus, this was a sneaky way to get Kanye on the list.
6. Keeps Gettin’ Better: Christina Aguilera
Truth be told, I’m generally not a huge fan, but love jogging to this woman power song!
7. Circus: Britney Spears
This song is too much fun to not add in.
8. Whine Up (feat. Elephant Man): Kat DeLuna
…And here we go! From here on out, these songs get serious about getting you moving.
9. In the Ayer (feat. Will.I.am): Flo Rida
Anyone who read my Top 10 Mom Friendly TV Shows will know I have an admitted obsession with trashy television. I first heard this song while feeding my baby at 2am and watching The Hills. Spencer gets out of a car to the tune of this and I have been addicted ever since. In fact, it’s been my ring tone for a while!
10. I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho): Pitbull
This song is pure fun and reminds me that I have a lot to forget before my kids grow up!
11. Boom Boom Pow: Black Eyed Peas
The. Song. Of. Summer. LOVE THIS SONG! My three year old and I can often be caught dancing to this one. He calls it the “Boom Chicka Boom” song. Of course both my girls get excited when it comes on, too. Sure, that breaks my “For Mom’s Ears Only” but I have to spice up the drive to preschool somehow! In fact, every song on here has an explicit lyrics free version, too. Or just get creative and when Fergie says, “sh*t,” explain how she’s talking about her pirate ship… Now get movin’!
