As I talk to more and more of my mommy friends, I’m realizing an alarming fact—not too many of them own a DustBuster! I am so alarmed that I want to get it out there, to make sure everyone knows—if you have a kid, you MUST invest in one. Rechargeable, cordless, this is one of life’s greatest inventions. You come back from the playground and your kid takes off his shoes inside, only to dump sand everywhere? Grab the DustBuster. You give your kid a treat in the car seat only to find crumbs everywhere? Grab the DustBuster. Your kid chucks his bowl of cheerios on the ground? Grab the DustBuster. Simply said—go get one!
Breezy Mama Tip: Make sure you get a cordless one—life ain’t so easy when you have to figure out where to plug it in. Here’s one at Amazon for only $14.99.
I have a dustbster! I am so cutting edge. =)
What I love even more than my dustbuster is my ergorapido cordless vacuum. Good for when you need to cover a little more area. Another plus…my kids LOVE to use it! And a final plus – it has it’s own attached/detachable “dustbuster”. Check it out: click here.
I haven’t heard of the ergorapido cordless vacuum, it sounds like it would be perfect. I’ll have to check it out.
Love the Dustbuster but love the Roomba even more. I can “vacuum” the house while I secretly read trashy magazines…. or in reality do the laundry or clean the kitchen. But it is nice to have something (rather than someone) clean all the floors for you and not have to pay or beg them. Check it out: click here.
I am a sucker for contemporary / modern style. Usually form follows funtion, but the “dustbuster” I have sucks! And when I mean suck not in a good way. Do NOT recommend the Dirt Devil Cone: http://www.amazon.com/Dirt-Devil-0213CHM-Cordless-Vacuum/dp/B000GHF2NC/ref=pd_bbs_sr_8?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1239207948&sr=8-8
I love the design and color, but the vacuum hole is tiny, suck power weak and takes me longer to get it set back right in its holder than it does to suck up the mess my kids just made.
I am so in agreement on this one. Son spills something – son, go get the dustbuster! daughter spills something – son, go get the dustbuster and clean up after your sister! lol.
My first one (I am on my 2nd) was actually a birthday gift – yeah, I know – but one that has turned into one of the best gifts ever for a mom.
