Having a few friends who have gone through the process of adoption, when I watched the preview clip for I’m Having Their Baby, I immediately welled up with tears. All I can say is: Wow! The docuseries airs on Oxygen on Monday, July 23rd at 11/10c and will follow a few women as they prepare to give birth, then introduce the baby to their new parents.

IHTB Logo black Sponsored Post: I’m Having Their BabyAfter getting the opportunity to watch the premier episode and watching Mary, who got pregnant during an affair, and Claudia, who was adopted herself and pregnant by an ex-boyfriend, but has a new boyfriend now, was riveting. Then, to see them think about handing over the babies… wow.

Each story starts about 6 and a half months into their pregnancies and fills us in on the two women. As they look into profiles of potential parents for the babies and the reasons they narrow down the future parents is fascinating. Watching these women struggle through their decisions is extremely emotional. And you won’t want to miss a moment!

I will watch it because these kinds of stories are so compelling and emotional.

  2. I definitely will love to watch those stories. People can see their experiences and learn what to expect before making a decision.

  3. I will not be watching because this show seems very exploitative.

  4. yes

  5. I did plan to watch it before…now after reading so much about it and seeing the “trailers” I will definitely be watching. I think this will be something I might watch for the first episode alone, and then may allow my teens and tween to watch if appropriate. I hate the idea of people and esp. children being exploited on tv, but I do believe this show seems to be done honestly and with integrity. I think it will provoke many questions for adults hoping to adopt, and young women and men who many find themselves with unplanned pregnancies and be faced with hard decisions. I am grateful for the adoption options, considering several family members have been involved with adoption, and also happy that it is much more open and discussed honestly these days…not kept like a scary secret like some have in the past. I am marking reminders on our tv’s for Monday night! Thanks!

  6. no. It’s not my cup of tea.
