My son has been packing for the Fourth of July since April-honestly. This is my kids favorite holiday! My family along with 4 of our highschool friends and their families(15 kids in all!) all stay in a hotel in Redondo Beach right on the water. We let the kids pick out their own snacks(Cheetos, licorice and Lucky Charms) and we play at the pool and beach ALL day on the 3rd and 4th. Then we set our chairs on the pool deck of the hotel and watch a great fireworks show over the beach. I think my husband and I look forward to this time as much as the kids!

We are going to Riverside to spend the day with my husbands side of the family. Catered BBQ and swimming! Fun, fun!
